Many first time lip filler patients start with a mini fill for a more subtle enhancement.
Most fillers last between six to eight months and most people get their lips topped up every six months to a year; it all depends one your budget and what kind of look your going for.
This is very individualized and up to the discretion of you and your provider. We recommend a consultation prior to your treatment where you can discuss the results you are trying to achieve.
Sunday Skin utilizes a variety of pain management tools to make your experience as pain free as possible! We provide topical numbing cream, distraction tools, stress balls and a hand to hold during your appointment. Additionally, there is lidocaine within the filler to make your experience less painful.
Hyaluronidase is used to breakdown hyaluronic acid, and can be injected to speed up the natural breakdown and essentially dissolve the original injection.

A lip flip is a quick, in-office cosmetic procedure that lasts about 10 to 20 minutes. It involves the injection of Botox into your Cupid’s bow, which is the middle of your upper lip, and into the corners of your mouth.
The injection temporarily relaxes the muscles around your lip. This causes the part of your upper lip that’s inside your mouth to “flip” upward and outward, giving your lip a fuller appearance.
Lip Flips uses Botox or Xeomin– which are neuromodulators (yes – the same Botox you get in your forehead!), to relax the orbicularis oris muscle in the top lip. By injecting Botox or Xeomin in this muscle, the top lip is encouraged to relax and ‘flip’ outwards to give the illusion of a subtle, fuller lip. It is a popular choice for those wanting to correct a gummy smile, or for someone who doesn’t want to add volume.
Dermal fillers work to treat these fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of volume in the face. Dermal fillers are hyaluronic acid fillers, which is a naturally occurring molecule found in our bodies. HA (hyaluronic acid) helps to restore moisture and volume to the skin. When filler is injected directly to the lips and Vermillion border, it creates volume and brings back definition, leading to a fuller, poutier lip while still producing a soft, natural appearance.
Actually, yes. This can be a rewarding option for someone who has really thin lips.
